Misha Anderson was a four time state champion at West Chester East High School, and she was the state record holder in the 500 Freestyle. She went on to PSU where she was a. two time captain, qualified for NCAA championships four times, and was named All-American in the 200 Butterfly. She helped her team win the 2006 Big Ten Championship, and was given the team MVP award twice. She competed in the US Olympic trials in 2004, 2008, and 2012. Misha has been on the swim coaching staff at Ohio State, and has other club and individual coaching experience she brings to our team.
Mark Miller grew up swimming for her summer team at Aronimink Swim Club in Drexel Hill. She became an Assistant Coach at Aronimink Swim Club in 2007. Mark swam for Radnor Aquatic Club for four years and also swam for her high school team Archbishop Prendergast where she was a First Team All-Catholic recipient and an All-Delco Honorable Mention recipient for swimming. After high school, she went on to swim at West Chester University for the 2007-2008 season. In 2008, West Chester’s Women’s Swim Team won the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Championship. Mark then played for WCU’s Club Lacrosse team from 2009-2011. WCU’s Club Team were 2009 and 2010 Regional Champions and National Qualifiers. After college, Mark continued coaching at Aronimink Swim Club and is now the Head Coach for the team. She also coaches the Girls JV Lacrosse Team at Rustin and taught swim lessons for three years at ACAC in West Chester. Other than coaching, Mark is currently a Health and Physical Education Teacher in the School District of Haverford Township also indoor pool yoga stand-up-paddle board instructor.
Jason Wood swam for the West Chester YMCA for ten years and also swam and dove on the West Chester East High School team for four years. During high school she also trained with Mark at West Chester Diving for two years. She attended Connecticut College where she was on the diving team and assisted with coaching new divers. She recently returned from a two-year stay in Vichy, France, where she taught English in primary and secondary schools. While in Vichy, she served as a translator for the U.S. Olympic Swim Team during a pre-Olympic training trip.
